I bet many people didn’t know dancing was permitted during school hours?

Okay, it wasn’t a dance like you might think. There weren’t any decorations, a dance theme or a band on the stage.

Believe it or not, some of us had dance lessons in Physical Education classes. We learned the foxtrot and waltz to name a couple. Phys. ed classes dance classes were co-ed. I remember Mr. Lynch teaching the class.

I expect for some kids, it might have been the first time to dance these types of dances.

We were certainly not today’s “Dancing With The Starsquality, but hopefully we learned enough so we wouldn’t step on our dance partner’s toes.
